Hi,

Do we need to submit(the beneficiary) the passport clearance certificate at the time of ds-3032?pls let me know.. I M talking about India ..

You do not need it for the DS-3032.

You need it for the DS-230.

There is a key point here. It depends on where your are from in India to be able to obtain the Passport Clearance Certificate for the IV DS-230 packet. NVC knows of this local jurisdiction issue for Gujarat (Specifically Ahmadabad). I do not have to submit Passport Clearance Cert with the DS-230, I will have to show it at the interview.

Call NVC and see if you are required to get it for your DS-230 packet or it can be shown at the interview.
