For us, biometrics came first, then interview notice. We never received an RFE, but I believe they can come either before or after the interview.

From what I've gathered here on the forums, it would be highly unlikely for anything to come before biometrics.

We received the physical green card today. My wife was practically doing cartwheels on the lawn. :)

Are you referring to interview for request for ROC

or AOS?

Heh, count me in. I was surprised that how fast they actually processed my application.

Sent in the i751 (10 days late...), 2 week laters got the bio notice... then 2 weeks later got a RoE, then 2 weeks later after the RoE package returned I got the notice of application relocation to local office, so now just waiting for the interview appointment.

I think the late application is the reason for my interview.

Wonder how they are going to grill me...

Why not just wait to file until April?

My greencard expired 20 May 2011, and I filed 2 May 2011.

As long as it is WITHIN the 90 days prior to it expiring, it doesn't matter whether you file on the 1st day or 89th day. :)

Sorry I didn't notice this before - we went out of the country for a few weeks. I was referring to the ROC interview notice.
