Has anyone been given a 221G at new Delhi for the K1 Fiance Visa. If given the 221G has anyone been approved after submitting the requested documents, and how long did it take to get approved, and what is the process. My fiancee was issued a white 221G which requested she submit several different documents which include, photos, affidavits, travel tickets, family guest list which attended the engagement, voter id card and voter list for last five years, and notarized copy of petitioners passport. Any feedback would be helpful, Thanks.

Theres been a lot of AP cases at both Bombay and Delhi lately. Are you guys an inter racial couple by any chance? Muslim? Just trying to get more information so can properly answer.

No were not a interracial couple. We are both punjabi sikhs, shes 24 and I am 23.

Im confused......it looks like they are looking for proof that you two met...the voter id card and voter list for five years should have been submitted with documents she sent before the interview.....

I think this has been happening quite frequently. However, I'd like ask what you submitted as part of your I-129F petition.

Seems like things such as photos, affidavits, travel tickets are things which are sent over with the Petition to establish that you have met. It would be "ideal" to send proof which indicates that you have met as well as being engaged (thats if you were engaged before having filed the I-129F Petition). Nevertheless, before knowing much I can't really speak for what should and shouldn't have been sent (you also do not have a timeline established).

So please fill us in and we'll try to give you as much feedback as possible.
