Islamabad Embassy being very strict

My husband went in for his second interview today. He was in there a long time...about 3 hours. They kept his passport and documents but didn't issue him a visa. The officer said he was going to call me today. I am still waiting. I hope that they call to verify from me. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yep I did.... i have a post about this very experience somewhere on here. They did call me and asked several questions. Don't worry they are verifying evthing..only difference is they did a longgggggggggg interviw with him the first time so they dont need him back. Wishing you luck!!!!

So sweet!!!! Islamabad is a difficult embassy to go thru.. especially when you know ap is at the end!!! Did the CO ever contact you?

No he didn't contact me...but I contacted him!! I called the Islamabad embassy and asked to speak to my officer. He was kind enough to answer the phone and we rescheduled for an interview next Monday. I am sure hoping he keeps his word!

My wife will be thr for immigrant visa interview will she be face AP and do I send her my all my tax docs. of 2010 do I have to take tax transcript from IRS as I did e-file from H&R. Thank you for help

women generally tend to not have to deal with ap however there are more women becoming victims of ap recently. She should have all past three years of tax docs in the AOS packet you sent to NVC... 2008 2009 2010

If she doesnt have 2010 at all (we supplied the actual return since we had to send AOS to NVC right after I filed I just supplied the w2 for 2010 along with the tax transcripts of 2008 2009 and had no problems

If you have not sent anything for 2010 then yes send her with all the transcripts as well and if you dont have them send a copy of the actual return with a copy of your w2 because they will ask for this at the interview and if she doesnt have it they will put her visa on hold until they do.

Even if you did efile (I also did that) you should be able to print the return and send a copy of your w2 if you can't get a transcript.
