How good is your facial memory?

Here is an interesting test. You'll be shown 12 photos in the first part,

You'll be shown another 12 photos in the second part,

You'll be shown 48 photos in the third part and asked if you saw them in the first part, the second part or never saw them at all..

When you have finished the third part, your results will be given to you

My score for 95% for the first part of the test (recognizing if I have or have not seen the face) and 69% for the second part (in which section I saw it - part 1 or part 2). Have fun!

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

This reminds me of the time I met an older Turkish gentleman after not seeing him for many years. At first I didn't recognize the name but the fez was familiar. :D

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Just curious, but did you take the 5min break in between the slide shows? I didn't, and I'm wondering if that break makes any kind of difference. It seems like the breaks would make it more difficult.

I got 100% on both. :D

I have a good memory!

I did get one "false positive" but it still gives me 100% for some reason.

I did. The breaks make it harder since you start to question which pool the face belongs to. Better know a friendly from a hostile, in the field you won't get a second chance.

Much like an unwanted pregnancy, that's a good thing. :P

You and IR5 must be some kind of CIA peeps or something. How do you people manage 100% out of all those pics?

Focus. I wonder if my score had been different if I hadn't been looking at used car ads. As for the CIA, what's that, I've never heard of it. :innocent:

I took about a 2-minute break. I think the break would make it easier and put the faces in your long-term memory. I did mentally repeat the pool number they belonged to as I looked at them, and in the second set I gave them nicknames for a memory-associated device (they weren't too flattering... eyebrow lady - 2, cigarette dude - 2, dreadlocks dude - 2, etc). I also had Family Guy showing on tv (which didn't help I am sure). I'm pleasantly surprised!

They had a few hot chicks in there...I know I got those ones right. I never forget a nice rack. But the other ones... I never thought of giving them names.

Then you didn't notice the two "sweater chicks" on there. If those weren't "C & D" cups then I lost my eyesight. The gal in the green turtle neck was the fist one to stand out.
