The FBI name check is for the U.S. to see if you have any kind of criminal problems since you moved to the U.S.

The police check you had done for your Visa was for your home country.

Interview - February 13th APPROVED! day 152

April 6 - wedding date day 204

Aug 22 - AOS interview date day 101-total days 342

Sept 29 - green card arrives, done until June 2008 day 140-total days 381

June 30 - I-751 mailed total days 1025

March 9 - Removal of Conditions approved! total days 1277

No they will not contact your home country ( most likely) they will enter your name in their own database and check to see if you are on some watch list.

IBIS is similat but done bu the USCIS ( immigration) and its scope is different, i.e., they do not have the same database as the FBI so they will check for immigration violations, it is faster than the FBI name check.
