Thanks everyone for all the informations. i received my greencard today. we had our interview July 27 and now Aug. 4, GC is in my hand. tomorrow, we can go to the DMV to tale the learners license. i hope now i would succeed =) Goodluck to all!

It's not weird. States are in charge of issuing driver licenses and each has their own requirements. The laws for driver licenses in NY are different from the laws in Alabama.

lol if you wont succed now, just tore it apart and go back home, lol that's what I would do

so then I guess i should receive it today too I had my interview on the 27th too :-)

GC DL will expire on same date, AZ no different but they understand documents and let my wife have license for 1 year pending GC completion. it is always a challenge.
