June Approval Waiting For NVC#

Jazz - I have written evidence that CSC sent my case July 21, it was "in the bldg" July 25, and they issued case# the next day. You should get case # any minute now...Keep talking to the supervisors to get that #.

That box has to be somewhere - I wonder if it is still at CSC in the corner of the Records Mailroom - waiting for the subcontractor guy who's been on vacation 2 weeks. They DO eventually come back from holiday, so it will happen... it will happen...

I am very glad to hear this - there is certainly light at the end of your long tunnel. I am sure NVC might have finally dug down and picked your case that was burried in a pile. They just failed to follow FIFO in your case. I hope they give you Case number quickly without all that #######.

yeah finally.. they received it after 55 days.

ok NVC received my file today so can i get number tomorrow or by end this week.

i am confused here..

yesterday i got email from NVC its says..NVC recevied my file on Aug 8th.

today i call them tht guy he told me that "we received your file on Aug 1st..give us 20 to 30 days to upload in the system".

so NVC recived my file on Aug 8th or Aug 1st.

Just for fun, I called three times today to see what my status supposedly is:

This morning, I spoke with a young man who told my receipt date is August 1, and he did not try to give me a BS time frame. He did try to say this is their "busy season."

This afternoon, I spoke with a curt woman who would not give me a receipt date but told me it would take 2-4 weeks to process. "2-4 weeks from when?" I asked. She could not say. Least helpful interaction with an operator yet.

Later this afternoon, I spoke with a woman who said again my receipt date is August 1 but told me to wait 2 weeks.

My point in this futile exercise? These operators don't have any more clue as to what is occurring than we do.

In the dark, out of the loop, our lives wait to be processed.

In fact we have better idea than them, as we are sharing the progress of each other and are able to make some calculated guesses.
