I have a question. Has anyone ever had no way of telling all the dates their fiance has visited the U.S. My fiance got his first visa in 1989 (he was a child). His mom did not keep good records. Additionally, his passport that had all stamps in it for his visits was destroyed. I don't have a lot of time to send in paperwork anywhere to try and find out. So would it be sufficient to simply state "various dates since March of 1989" and then list the most recent dates we do have?

I think what I would do is attach a paper explaining why you cannot list every date since 1989, but here are the most recent dates. I'm not sure if that is good enough, but I would probably try it myself. Good luck!

If I were you, I would make a separate sheet outlining your Fiance's US visit dates, "to the best of your knowledge".

List form and line number on the separate sheet and sign it.

If the subject passport is no longer available, how can you be expected to know the exact dates? Do the best you can.

There are other ways. Are there credit card records, showing purchases of plane tickets? Is your fiance a member of airline frequent flyer clubs? If so, then the airline can probably document travel dates. Also, all that is required is one visit within the last two years. More is nice, but not necessary.

If your finace has travelled with his/her parents then its possible to find the dates by looking at the passport of parents.
