No job, yet!

I wish I had one. Getting sick of applying and not hearing anything back. :bonk: :bonk: :bonk:

I know this feeling myself- I graduated college in December and it took until late March to find a job! And I'm working as a temp (but in a permanent position thank goodness) Good luck, Marco will start job searching as soon as he gets his dang work permit. I don't hold out much hope that he'll get a job quickly :(

@KimberlyAhmed - good luck to you guys! :) more waiting games begin now lol.

Hello August'11 filers!

Glad to see some of you already have EAD & SS#.

Despite out quick NOA2 approval, it was a rough ride for us.

Took forever to get a foreign police record and extension was requested for our approval.

Then on the interview, it did not go well from the beginning and end up getting an AP (Administrative Processing)...

Good news is that we got married in August, almost a year later since we filed our K-1 :)

and ready to file AOS this month.

Just wanted to drop in and say;

Whatever the stage you may be in, good luck everyone!

Holy hallelujah... I'm finally back on board the visa train! After 6 weeks of calling DOS twice a week and hearing the same answer every time, I finally heard something different today: "Congratulations ma'am, your visa was issued today." Yay!

We're hoping the passports will be delivered quickly and plan to POE sometime in the next 10 days.

Ugh, what a long haul this has been, but 14 months after NOA1, I should finally be able to marry my man!

The K-1 Visa journey for myself and my two K-2 children:

K-1: NOA1 2011-8-10; NOA2 2012-1-12; Interview 2012-4-24; Visa issued 2012-9-17; POE (Sarnia) 2012-9-26; Wedding! 2012-10-02
AOS: NOA1 2012-11-20; Biometrics 2012-12-14; AP/EAD approved 2013-1-11; Interview 2013-1-31; 2-yr Green cards in hand 2013-2-9 (101 days total)

ROC: NOA1 11-7-14; Biometrics 12-1-14; 10-yr Green cards ordered 4-13-15! (157 days total)

Counting down to naturalization time!
