My best advice... stop checking. About a week before my 5 month "deadline", I was checking like a freak, constantly. Then the date passed and I got so sad. I realized I was putting too much stress on the whole thing and decided to make myself go 1 week without looking -- for my own sanity. 3 days later, I got the email. :)

Really, relax. It will happen when you stop expecting it to.

That said.. I hope it happens for you soon!

This is me as we speak... Tmw marks 5 months of waiting and just seeing someone from October getting approved today made me even more SAD....

Uggg come on CSC! I know this has to be my week for my NOA2!

My fiance and I are freaking out checking our phones/emails/UCIS site non-stop the last few business days as I've been seeing approvals for around my date on VJ.

- just remember a watched pot never boils.:lol:

Aaron suggested to sign 3 different ones and send me; 1 "blank", 1 with his signature and 1 with "fiance". lol! I mean, since it states "nature of relationship" the answer must be "fiance". However, I agree with you guys that ot makes no sense!

i'm going to do that too- if anyone finds out what you're actually supposed to do there, please share? lol :help:

I never saw that box before- i guess it's a good thing that someone mentioned it. I'd have left it blank for sure

Question on the I-134 Sponsor form...Has anyone found a good sample form to work off of? The only completed ones I've been able to pull up on the internet aren't for K-1 Visas.

Also, if anyone has filled theirs out already, do you notice on the Oath and Affirmation section at the bottom, there is a blank space within the body of the oath (aside from Signature and date). Does anyone know what you are supposed to say here?

I just did a research on VJ, and there's a lot of topics about this problem. It looks like it's an error. Some people left it blank, some wrote "fiance". In all cases they had no problem with it at the interview. :)

I just did a research on VJ, and there's a lot of topics about this problem. It looks like it's an error. Some people left it blank, some wrote "fiance". In all cases they had no problem with it at the interview. :)

All;

I received this email today from the Santiago Embassy. I had two questions, one was my concern that I hadn't received the hard copy of the NOA-2 yet and if my fiance needed the interview, the second was what to do with that darn blank space on the I-134! Here's the answer:

Thank you for your email. Once the NVC has assisgned a case number to the approved petition, the case will be forwarded to Santiago, Chile and we will contact your fiancée directly. It would not be necessary from your fiancée to present the notification of the approval notice.

In the oath and affirmation you should leave the space blank.

Sincerely,

Immigrant Visa Unit

Santiago, Chile

So there you go!

Ok here's my next question. Is everyone putting "N/A" for question #11 in the I-134? I know it says that on the example form but don't we have to explain that we'll be supporting our fiance initially or is it just implied? You guys are great thanks for all the help so far!

AOS From K-1 Visa (POE 4/6/12)

Day 8 (5/01/12): Check Cashed

Day 12(5/05/12): Biometrics Appt. Letter received (for 5/25/12)

Day 31(5/24/12): Successful Walk-in Biometrics

Day 73(7/04/12): Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 78(7/09/12): 2nd Email notification of EAD/AP approval

Day 79(7/10/12): Notification EAD/AP has been mailed and Notification EAD/AP Picked up by USPS

Day 81(7/12/12): EAD/AP card arrives!

Day 88(7/19/12): Interview for AOS: Approved!

Day 96(7/27/12): Green Card in Hand!!

I just looked at my completed 134, that is not a "blank space" that is simply a divider line, NOTHING goes there, it separates the oath from the signature/date area.

i have seen people tick yes and say they will provide whatever the immigrant fiance will need and they have been approved but we are filling out the I-134 as it shows on the sample here on VJ because it hasnt let us down so far. i think it is just implied that the USC fiance will support the other.
