My fiance and I filed in July and I will be sending in Packet 3 today. I'm hoping next week I'll be able to schedule my appointment on the CSC website. I've been looking through the stats and can't see the answer I'm looking for. Does anyone know or have you heard anything about the appointment wait time in Montreal for those who are trying to schedule this month?

Yesterday was 5 months since I mailed in the fiancé visa petition. Really was hoping to receive our approval. I called USCIS and they said our case is just waiting for the decision and as far as they could tell no other information is required from me. I was told to call back on January 17 and they will put in a service request as our petition is still under the 5 month processing, for the received date of August 15. I know that this is the standard reply, but maybe we will hear before then and we won't have to put in a service request

can anyone tell me how to contact USCIS. My friend who also filed k1 petition has been waiting for more than 5months. They will be on their 6th month by Feb 3. I would like to help her out by giving the right info to contact USCIS.

Just called NVC and the lady said, they just received our case and we got our new case number too

I remember reading that the new case number means something...Is this true??
