08 - 01 - 2011 Date of NOA1

08 - 02 - 2011 Received email, text and case status online was updated of NOA1

08 - 02 - 2011 Check cashed by USCIS

12 - 22 - 2011 Received email and text of RFE. Reason yet to be known. Must wait for letter

12 - 22 - 2011 Postmark that CSC mailed hard copy of the RFE

12 - 24 - 2011 11:55 a.m. Received RFE letter in the mail

12 - 24 - 2011 12:25 p.m. dropped RFE back at the post office with requested copies of passport pages

Congrats on your NOA2 :) Got ours also on the 3rd :)

I was searching a little bit and I found out, that the petitioner will receive a letter from NVC when they send it to the consulate. But you can call the NVC too, to find out, if they received it, what your consulate number is and when it left to the embassy. I don't know the phone number though.

Sorry I haven't been on, I've had a stressful month! The great news is that Michiel was APPROVED on Dec. 15 at his interview! He said that he was in and out within an hour. His POE was in Philadelphia on December 24. Seeing him finally, after 7.5 months was just..there are no words. It's like we never skipped a beat, and just picked right back up where we left off. I have been having a hard time going to work, just knowing that he's home and I'd rather be spending a lot of time with him- but it's GREAT to know that when I get home, he will be there.

We are thinking about when we want to get married and what will have to happen in the next stages. We are just going to go to the courthouse, the two of us, get married, and then this summer have a bigger vow renewal/reception.

I know it's a long wait, and it seriously blows, but at least after this process you know 110% that you can, and will, make it through anything!! :)

Best of luck to everyone, and I will keep you all updated! :) :) :)

I'm leaving in a few minutes to bring Marco to the airport. He's basically just going home to finish his stuff and come back to me, but it's sooooo hard! :cry:

Anyone else have problems filling out the DS-156? when you click "continue" it gave us errors, for two days now (using two different PC's, different browsers, etc.)
