I was separating some frozen meat, knife slipped, punctured the palm of my left hand pretty badly, had to call 911.

Severed the tendon that pulls on the tip of my ring finger.

:crying:

ouch! see, this is why i do not use knives :lol:

dan & jenni- there are plenty of people around here that are getting expedited for bogus reasons (same "problems" i have) but i'm not willing to go and stretch the truth just to jump in line. but if you wanna try for that reason, why not? it might actually work :yes:

ive thought about trying it but after reading some of the stories on here i think i would feel guilty if i jumped the queue for something like that. im hoping to be approved before christmas which would make me being there for march quite possible anyway :)

@Widsy - yeowtch! I hope you can get your hand fixed up soon. That sounds like a pretty serious injury.

I'm hoping for a departure from here in very early April...but It's getting a bit doubtful...trying not to think about it too much.

Yes I am getting ready, but not for interview, just packet 3. Getting polic reports done for me and my daughter (Just turned sweet 16), getting seriology for immunisation done. Can't make medical appointment till I have the case number cos the Doctor won't take an appointment till I have a case number !!! GRRRRR... gathering LOTS of papers...and getting phone/skype/email logs printed etc etc etc

AND

ok so i hope my petition is next in line. i saw lots of july getting approved recently. coooome on august! :lol:

He is coming to visit for 10 wonderful days over New Years! I will get to see him in 1 month and 1 day! His first trip of longer than 6 hours... :rofl: It takes 36 hours to get here from his place!

yay! :thumbs: my fiance is also coming visit me over the holidays, (in 14 days.) but 36 hours of traveling = ouch. :wacko:

Hi everyone! Long time, no talk. Sorry, my computer took a ####### on me, but I'm back in action now! I just wanted to see how everyone was doing! :) I'm hanging in there, we found out on the 23rd that Michiel's interview is December 15. We're just counting down now, it will be weird to live together again. In the past year we've spent two weeks together, it's been seven months since I've seen him! It's just crazy! I hope everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had a great holiday! Now, time to prepare for Christmas!
