Vawa and I-601!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys,

I'm new here but I've been reading a lot for the past couple weeks and I have some questions if you guys dont mind

helping me with. I came ewi about eight years ago from the philippines. I've been married now for over three years and

we have a one year little girl. My husband was filing for my papers but was told that I have to go back home for my interview

which is scheduled for September 2nd. My husband is a dictator and is very controlling and can be intimidating at times.

Fast forward to where we are now. So I'm preparing to go to my interview back in th Philippines and here we are having major

problems. We had a huge fight, the cops were called because he put his hands on me. Now he's threating to take away my daughter

and to abandon the whole immigration process and he's even saying that he's going to wait untill I go for my interview then he's gonna

call the NVC and tell them that he's no longer interested in completing the application. I'm terrified right now because there's no

way I'm going to that interview after what he said and get stuck down there. My question is this, do you guys think that I'll be able

to file for a vawa petition even though my case is in the final stages at the NVC? Should I still go to the interview? I'm so depressed

right now because he's pached up his things and move out of the apartment and I'm not working. I have no where to go with my daughter and I'm

afraid he might come back for her and I cant stop him because I'm an illegal and I cant find work.
