I had mine on June 21st and still waiting for that elusive oath date :( If I were you, since it's past 45 days, I would start calling them. I am definitely calling after my 45 days is up.

I did call today, they told me that they can take up to 120 days to review the file. And to call back when it is 90 days.

I guess I just have to wait.

That's when your elected officials get involved ;) Have them check on your case.

what do you mean by elected officials? Sorry I am a newbie at this.

A friend of mine called her congressman to check on her case. After a couple of days, she received her oath ceremony schedule.

I did have a basis to call my senators office as my wife was promised to receive her oath letter within in two weeks, but let seven weeks go by. Without that promise, would have been 120 days by law before I could have called.

Same day oaths would be far more efficient for them, but that is dictated by each of the 80 some odd field office managers.

Senators are far more capable of dealing with immigration issues, a six year term, and most have an immigration department. Congressman only serve a two year term, one year, doing some work, second year, running for reelection. Good senators have a web site that specifies if they have an immigration department with contact information. Fellow Wisconsinites voted in this Ron Johnson as he promised to cut taxes. He still doesn't have an office yet practically after a full year with no way to contact him. But he sure contacts us, asking for money. Easy for us to send him a check, but that is just about it. He spent 17 million bucks of his own money to get a $150,000 a year job.

It's reassuring for me that both our distric congressman and state senators have immigration office/staff. They will be my last resort, say after 60 days and no oath scheduled. Our congressman is a first-timer, and so is our ® senator, but the (D) is a seasoned one who's up for reelection, so we'll see who has the power.

What kind of information should you include in the letter to your congressman? A-number? Receipt number? Address?

USCIS is starting to really irritate me two months after my interview and almost six weeks since I was placed in oath scheduling queue, yet no oath letter. Hopefully my senator can get their attention.
