sorry bro. i know two that did vote for obama in 08 & have aligned their political allegiance with the tea party recently. they feel betrayed by obama not fulfilling his campaign promises. specifically his promise to close gitmo, end the wars, & be transparent.

It's inconceivable how any sound minded person can go from supporting Obama in 2008 to being a ** in 2011. You have to do a complete 180 to get from here to there. So, while they may have voted for Obama, I don't think that they ever supported any of the broader policy positions he campaigned on - health care reform, tax fairness, extensive government support for the economic recovery, expansion of organized labor rights, etc.
