Both fees are PAID status as of today and I-864 & DS-230 submitted. Now how long for NVC to review and send on to the embassy? :D

I think a lot of the NVC July filers are in the same boat. I'd like to know when people start to get the SIF message or other indication that NVC processing is finally complete.

It usually takes about 2-3 weeks for NVC to review packages. Once it's reviewed, and there's no RFEs, then your case is complete. It then gets put into a queue for an interview date to be scheduled. After case complete, the interview date can be assigned within a few days or within a few weeks. It varies by country. Once an interview date has been set, only then will your case be sent to the embassy.

Thanks Saylin. Is the SIF the only indication that processing is complete or do they send an email notification?

SIF is a good indication the case is complete. But remember SIF does not always equal case complete. I've seen a few cases where a person received a RFE after SIF.

Only those doing electronic processing get a case complete email. The only sure-fire way to find out about case complete is either through an operator or the AVR. But remember, the AVR is usually behind by a few days, so go with an operator :)
