Traveling to the US on a K-1 Visa

First, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right place, but this seemed to be the most logical place to ask this question. Feel free to move this post to a more appropriate location, if necessary. :)

Here's my question: My fiance will be coming here to the US on a K-1 visa. I was pricing airfare today and noticed that there is a drastic difference in price between a one-way ticket and a round-trip ticket. When he comes here, does he need to have a one-way plane ticket, or can we save some money and by a round-trip ticket (of course, he would not use the return ticket). A round-trip ticket is literally HALF the price of a one-way ticket.

This may seem a stupid question, but I would rather ask the question and "sound" stupid, than not ask the question and DO something stupid. :)

If you buy round trip make sure to CANCEL the trip back once he arrives in the USA.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Round-trip is fine. I had no issues and didn't cancel the return but still recommend doing so. Sometime after I arrived there was at least one post where someone went to their AOS interview and was denied because they had left the US during the process without AP. Problem was they DIDN'T. There was an issue with the return ticket in that the airlines had registered them as on the flight when they actually weren't. So, to avoid a mess, cancel it once you land!
