Thanks! So this morning we arrived in the area about 715am and had breakfast then parked. We went into the building about 8am and quickly found the office.

I went to the receptionist and handed her my and my husband's passports. She was also from the Caribbean and was happy to see us and wished us good luck. We waited about 15 mins or so (our appt was at 830am) and were called back by agent Baena (spanish). He noticed my husband was tired and I explained it was because we'd been doing a lot of driving past couple of weeks.

When we entered his office he started recording without informing us and asked us to explain how and when we went on leave. We did and laughed when we both said simultaneously "we're road warriors." lol

He then asked us about when I entered the country on my F-1 visa and did not bring up that I was out of status for a couple years. He did however ask when was the last time I entered the country - I told him and assured him I had not left since then as I would have been unable to return. LOL. He asked us how long we knew each other and we told him about us growing up together in our home country. Then he asked about when we got married... I told him we got married in November in TN and had our wedding and reception in April in NY. I then showed him pictures from both events. He asked if we knew each other's families well we told him yes and showed him pictures of our parents at our wedding. He browsed some more through the album and commented that I had set up the album very well and chronologically so it was easy to follow.

He then asked for our documents to show we live together and such... I gave him our docs as well as both our driver's license and military IDs.He chatted with my husband about his military career. He asked if we had any kids and we answered no. Then he verified some questions straight from the form. He said ok, I am going to order your card for production; but in order to do so I have to tinkle with this computer for about 15 mins so have a seat outside and I'll be right out. Which we did. Before leaving he explained the conditions and all that. True to his word he came out, handed me a letter noting my card was in production to expect it in a couple weeks. He gave us back our I94s we shook hands, he wished us luck in life and we left.
