uh, yes. the last update was 15 december. it is updated as people post their progress.

the date of the NOA is important. and also it depends on which local office you have. some are faster than others. you need to be patient.

I am in San Francisco, California. It seems that the California office sucks.

Wow. By the time these approvals start rolling in, we'll all be just about ready to file for citizenship :hehe:

yes. it could be. VSC is about 3-4 months behind CSC. comments like yours are tough for those of us who filed months earlier and have months more ahead of us.

We made a second service request for a biometrics appointment today. We got contradictory information from the officer and she could not resolve her own contradiction.

She said the fingerprints were "expired" and that she would have to get them again, except that the officer would tell them to "run" the fingerprints again. I asked her what "run" the fingerprints meant, and the answer was that it means to "run" them. Later she said it means run them through an FBI check again. But regardless, this contradicts the last two letters we have gotten that says she has to have new fingerprints taken.

The only thing we know is that we have not missed a biometrics appointment letter from them.

Philippines is looking better and better as a place to live and be free from this kind of government.

what is going on..?why are they taking soooo long..?it's been 4months since i had my bio..until now NO TOUCH..come on CSC.. :angry:

Well... July CSC approval rate here in ROC forum is still 48% so... At least, you are CSC filer... :whistle:

For approved applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include USCIS sending notification of the approved application/petition to the National Visa Center or the Department of State. For denied applications/petitions, post-decision activity may include the processing of an appeal and/or motions to reopen or reconsider and revocations.

on aug 31 uscis recieved our packet and i checked today online it says it in initial review stage so what does this mean it has been quite awhile now ? it is saying last time touched is the same date
