oh that stinks, sorry to hear that! hope you get the green card before to just be completely sure...but honestly I don't have faith in 3rd world countries, as I come from one, I do see why you don't want to risk it, but they shouldn't give her any issues getting back in with NOA she has!!

Still no biometrics appointment. Our request for service more than a week ago resulted in a letter from USCIS to the NSC to please make us an appointment.

She has had her fingerprints taken already but they are requiring she do it again, and refusing to allow anyone but their special fingerprint department do it. Not the police, not the troopers - nobody but them, and they already have our fingerprints - on her green card. Last time they made us wait until they came to Fairbanks, which was OK except the fingerprint machine didn't work. So they said to drop what we were doing and drive that 900 mile round-trip, to be there bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning. So sure, we got on a jet - first class of course, and had a limo pick us up at the airport with cocktails and hot finger foods.

We can make an infopass to drive nine hundred miles round trip to ask if they have made us an appointment yet. It will be at that place - but the only certain thing is that we will not be allowed to take fingerprints the day we go for an infopass appointment. They don't even have to give us an appointment.

So tomorrow we're going downtown. We're putting a bunch of cinderblocks in the back. I'm going to start throwing them through store windows. Within five minutes the police will be there. My fingerprints will be taken within half an hour. They will be free. The machine will work perfectly.

That's how you can get your fingerprints.
