Can someone please tell me if the Biometrics appointment comes from the Service center or from the Application Support Center? I mean the address, or is it just from USCiS like it says on the NOA1?

Hello!! I have a question: Does the Biometrics appointment come from the Service Center or from the ASC? Can you guys believe my NOA1 is dated 8/17 and I still haven't gotten it? I called USCIS and supposedly, my name is on a waiting list to get the appointment. It makes me really mad, cause I live in a not so big of a town and I have to wait for the appointment? But... can someone answer my question? Thanks!!!

Do Dependents not receive biometric appointments? Wife and kids each received a NOA1 but only the wife has received a biometrics appointment letter.

My daughter is 13 and she did not get a seperate biometrics appointment letter, nor was she named on my letter. I called and asked and they reassured me that kids under 14 are not obliged to have their biometrics taken again although you still have to pay for it at the time of submitting the I-751. At my biometrics appointment I even checked with the officer there and he confirmed that it was not required. i hope this helps.

I was in July filers but they sent our petition back 2 weeks b4 the expiration, with one week to spare we sent in out petitions on 8/8/11 they sent us our NOA1 on 8/10/11 and we had a biometrics on 8/30/11 and yesterday we got our 10 year green card!! With approval notice for 9/12/11

CSC is rockin...

We sent our 751 in July CSC sent it back.

We had problems and couldnt send the packet until the first week of August. We got biometrics on August 30 and we received our 10 year on September 14th. Less than 5 weeks!!!! Hope the rest of my fellow filers have a great outcome as we did Las Vegas rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9/15/2008 – check cashed

9/19/2008 –Received NOA1

12/28/2008 – Received NOA2 Approval email from CRIS

01/06/2009 – Left NVC for Mumbai Consulate

01/07/2009 – Received NVC confirmation letter in the mail

01/08/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file electronically and sent packet 3 (info from DOS)

01/10/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file (hard copy) from NVC (DHL tracking)

01/19/2009 – Overnighted packet 3 (still did not receive receive pkt 3 from Mumbai)

01/20/2009 – Packet 3 arrives at Mumbai Consulate

01/23/2009 – called DOS and was informed that packet 4 has been sent and interview date set.
