A lot of the questions say "Name one this or that", when there are multiple answers, but what about the questions that don't do that and list various answers. For example, for the question: What is the "rule of law"? There are 4 answers that all mean the same thing. (Everyone must follow the law. Leaders must obey the law. Government must obey the law. No one is above the law.) It seems to me that any of those could be said and would be right. And then, for example, for the question: What does the judicial branch do? There are 4 answers that are different (reviews laws, explains laws, resolves disputes, decides if a law goes against the Constitution). My question is, do you have to say all 4 of them? Or will just saying one of them correctly do?

I know it's safer to just memorize everything, but I'm really hoping my husband won't have to do that. Thanks, everyone!

May 18, 2005 Received RFE for Supplemental Form to I-693 dated May 13.

May 31, 2005 Sent in Supplemental Form to I-693 as requested.

June 7, 2005 Received e-mail notice stating Supplemental Form to I-693 had been received.

June 16, 2005 AP & EAD approved!!!

August 5, 2005 Received appointment letter for AOS interview: October 20, 2005

October 20, 2005 AOS Interview APPROVED!

no, you don't have to learn all 4, they are all correct, only one answer is needed.

If they asked for "one" give them one... And for the questions with multiple answers but do not specifically ask for one answer, I guess it's ok to say one or two or three, that would kind of impress the IO :)

I learned 1 answer for each - I didn't worry about how many options there were (I mean why memorize more then you have to).

As long as you provide 1 of the 4 answers, you'll be fine

There are a couple that ask you to name (for example)...3 original colonies(states) - I memorized 3 and forgot about the others.

Some questions I already knew the answers to, but about 1/3 I did not and this is what I did for those.

06/17/11 - status change - scheduled for interview

06/20?/11 - received physical interview letter

07/13/11 - Interview in Fairfax,VA - easiest 10 minutes of my life
