After debating whether or not to arrange an infopass to find out where my interview letter i heard our postman today. Nomally he doesnt deliver this early, so i went outside and to my shock i got a letter from USCIS in lee's summit.

It was the interview letter for the greencard. I have the interview in Manchester,NH on the 10th of October. To say i am excited is an understatement. My wife is over the moon as finally things are falling into place. The funny thing is that got my EAD card last saturday.

I have gone over the list and i have everything but the one thing that is bothering me is the requirement for a complete medical examination(form i-693) and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope(unless already submitted). The only documents i sent to them was the vaccination document i received from my medical in dublin last November and the medical sheet the doctor gave me that day as well. I didnt receive an RFE. The only medical package i gave them was the original medical examination package that i handed over to US immigration at Shannon airport in Ireland when i moved over here. Do i need to arrange to see a USCIS doctor or will i be ok?

I am delighted that the CSC club have had a few approvals today, the more the merrior.

Thanx peter, Its a great day for the both of us.

My medical was done on the 15th of movember 2005 so it will be fine. The reason why i asked was because i just wanted to know if i have to go to a USCIS doctor to get that form (i-693a)filled out.

The only medical stuff i have is what i got from the doctor when i did my medical last Novmeber. The package he gave me i gave to US immigration when i moved over here on a K1 visa. I have the vaccination sheet and the ds documentation(i forget the number) that the doctor gave me.

For anyone who did the interview did you have to go to a cival surgeon to get i-693a filled out. I didnt so i just sent what i had when i was filing for AOS. I didnt get an rfe asking for the medical.

Donal,

That is exactly what I did. I did not do or sent in the I-693 or I-693A. There have been threads here on VJ for both sides, that you should do it and that you do not need to.
