Why do you need to expedite? You need a reason for it to meet expedite criteria.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Call USCIS. They will give you the list. The reasons are mainly medical emergency and severe financial loss. Their definition of severe financial loss does not include lost plane tickets. Good luck.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Another thing, does anyone know if I am able to leave the US without the AP card (BUT AP has been approved and I have been notified of it having been approved BEFORE the date i leave) and have the AP card courierd overnight to my home country so that i have the card with me when i enter the US again?

This is if I am unable to get an expedite?

You need AP in hand to leave and return. I tried to expedite AP but was unsuccessful. I had a very long conversation with CBP about all the rules. Good luck.

In theory this wouldn't be a problem, but i can tell you from experience that just because it was APPROVED on a certain date doesn't mean that's the date that will be on the document. Not to mention AP is now tied to the EAD so that's a card production. Plus what do you do if it's lost in the mail? You're basically SOL.

If you check this person's profile, you will see they have not logged onto VJ for 7 months, so you will probably not get a reply from posting in this old thread.

Try posting in your regional forum and see if anyone with experience with your consulate can help you.
