What gives? I called USCIS (800) 3 times and got 3 different answers.

1. "The new one is coming out soon."

2. "It is a valid form- that is the revised date...just use it." WRONG

3. "It must be received by 9/30- wait for the new one to be safe...even if we get it close to that date, they might reject it and ask you to submit the new form."

Do they realize they are dealing with people lives?

Anyone have any idea? I can't use the new I864EZ because most of my income is NOT from my W2 ("b") but from my self employment 1040.

Thanks.

Correct, If they will accept prior editions of the form going back the January 1998 revision of the form they will accept the most recent one also.

I am in the same situation and am planning to use this form. Most probably, I won't be able to send it before the 9/30, and will therefore check if there is a new form at that date... But I hope to file it before, and I agree with the last posters, it should be accepted.

K-1

January 11, I-129F sent

January 18, NOA1

April 12, NOA2

May 3, NVC sent file to Embassy in Paris
