Tsk Tsk Tsk back to you. :bonk: I was being facetious. :bonk: A husband / wife should never "make" their spouse do anything. :bonk:

Just in case you need a vocabulary lesson.....,

fa·ce·tious

  [fuh-see-shuhthinsp.pngs] dictionary_questionbutton_default.gif adjective

1. not meant to be taken seriously or literally: a facetious remark.

2. amusing; humorous.

3. lacking serious intent; concerned with something nonessential, amusing, or frivolous: a facetious person.

Stick around and after awhile you will learn, I am (quite often) facetious. ;)

Thanks for the vocabulary lessons! I already know that you are not serious.Did you forget who you're talking to? We Filipinas can take jokes. Why do you think I said what I said as a response. Tsk tsk tsk Now, tell me who can't? :)

Did you forget who you're talking to? We Filipinas can take jokes. Why do you think I said what I said as a response. Tsk tsk tsk Now, tell me who can't? :)

Make an Excel spread sheet so she can see how much comes in and how much comes out and where it all goes :) This worked for me, but only after she started working her own job did she really understand. Also maybe teach her to pay the bills....joint checking.

WONDERING HOW TO MAKE MY FILIPINA ABOUT BUDGETING....SHE SEEMS TO HV NO IDEA OF WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE MONEY AN BE ABLE TO SAVE OR BUDGET... SOMETIMES I THINK SHE THINKS MONEY JUST FALLS FROM TREES HERE... BELIEVE ME,,I NOT THE BEST WITH MONEY BUT I KNOW WHAT AN WHEN THINGS NEED TO BE PAID... IF I ASK HER WHERE THE MONEY WENT,,MOST THE TIME SHE GETS MAD BECAUSE I DONT TRUST HER WITH MONEY SHE SAYS... THANKS FOR ANY IDEAS....GREG

I always find the phrase "My Filpina" odd. Makes her sound like a pet, which I find odd. Of course a lot of us do it.. Just saying

As for budgeting.. I got my wife her own checking account. I put money in there. When she wants to buy splurge items, I always go, "well it's your money you can do what you want with it". She almost always then passes. She is so ingrained into saving her money, she gets very frugal.

Any smart Filipino would not marry anyone who calls her "MY FILIPINA" in all caps, and with seriously questionable grammar.
