Hi good day! Does everyone here know when is the right time for us to contact USCIS regarding this? And also do you know their telephone numbers?

We filed for AOS last July 09 and USCIS received it according to our delivery confirmation last July 12. I know I should be patient but I'm worried because my K1 visa will expire in about 2 days and might have problems after that. I hope someone could help me. Thank you!

Your K-1 visa already expired. It expired the moment you used it.

You are talking about the I-94 expiration date here that is what you should be looking at.

As long as you married within the 90 days after entry you are fine. Don't even bother worrying about the expiration on the I-94. You already filed AOS. You need to wait 30 days/ one full month before contacting USCIS.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Hi,

I called them as my case hasn't been updated on the website, I filed in June and still no update. I wouldn't hurt to call them. I am going to call again tomorrow as it has been 2 weeks since I last called.

Good luck

Dave :)

Same for us. It took about a month before it was processed. But once it was, things began to move fast!!

Check our timeline on my profile (not the one below, that has not been updated yet).

Even better was the notice last week that the case has been transferred to CSC. Looking like we will not have an interview!

I am glad to hear that you received your NOAs; that has to be a huge weight off of your mind. We are still waiting for NOAs for the EAD, AP, and AOS packages for my wife (K-1) and stepson (K-2). We dropped the package with the forms at a FedEx Office location on July 9, it was picked up July 11, and signed for by S. Bush at the Chicago Lockbox on July 13th, but we have not heard anything either. Ann and I are just chilling out until the 30 days have elapsed and then we will start pestering USCIS. If we get to that point I almost expect them to say, "We don't know ... stop payment on the checks and resubmit."

Take care and may God see you speedily through the rest of the process.

Joe & Ann

Ours took one month, I think yours is coming. After another week we got the schedule for my wife's biometrics appointment. Good luck!

Just to update: we received texts and e-mails from USCIS yesterday indicating that they had accepted the Forms I-485, I-765, and I-131 for both my wife and stepson ... six separate case numbers. Take care and have a great day!

We reached 30 days yesterday, and still no NOA... check is not cleared either :crying:

(We sent out the package on July 12, and it was delivered on the next day! argh...)

We are about to call USCIS today, but are they even able to check with our papers, because we don't have NOA yet--- we don't have a case number!

*Sigh*

@ Tina & Sam: Congratulations!!! Ann and Daine received their biometrics letters one day before receiving their various hardcopy NOAs. We are scheduled for August 30th at the ASC in Alexandria, Virginia. Apparently they readily accept early walk-ins, so we are going to give it a try.

@ neko: We called USCIS on the morning of August 4th and were told we had to wait 30 days. We inquired as to next steps if it hit the 30 day mark and the representative indicated that they could then put in a service request. He also added, however, that if they could not locate the package (and it was important that someone had signed for the package ... in other words, express/courier and not regular mail) then a new set of applications should be sent. Interestingly, we received our e-mails and texts on the afternoon of August 4th. Just a coincidence? Hmmmmmmmmm.

Take care and have a great day!

Joe
