Wish to have my mom by christmas here in the States...

Qestion:

1. What do we need to obtain to have her here?

2. Do we really have to show ownership of property?

3. Do we need to have a large amount of money to show?

We wish to hear from someone that has experience in this case? step to step procedure is truly appreciated.

When you say "have her here by Christmas" do you mean to visit or to move here permenantly. If to visit then she will need to show strong ties to her home country. Money in the bank is one thing, but IMO that doesn't create a strong tie as it is easy to move money to a stateside bank. Car that she is making payments on, Mortgage for a house, Job with letters from her employer, children and other family that still live in her home country. These all show strong ties to her home.

If you want her to immigrate here then it is an entirely different process and there is no way possible she can be here by Christmas unless you started years ago.

Visiting is the intention, she is not sure about moving here permanently. It must be impossible to do the tourist then as we don't have any property or she's not even working. The only thing that tie her up in the Philippines is her husband.

Then she would need to apply for a Visitor Visa.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
