My wife's 20 yearl old daughter is now applying for a K-2 visa. My wife entered the US through Newark, NJ on the 18th of june and her daughter was to follow. She has read all the info on ustraveldocs.com/ph and she has payed the $350 visa fee and is now ready to call in for her visa interview appointment but everytime she calls she gets a recording that tells her she must fill out form ds-160 and have the barcode available and then she can shedule an appointment. When I read the info about ds-160 it states that it is good for all non-immigrant visa except K-1, K-2, K-3 and K-4. I don't understand this but the recording does not let her speak to a live person and insist she has to fill out form ds-160. Please help. I am at a loss. Thanks

Archie

Some embassys do use the DS-160 for K-1, k-2 visas even though it says non-immigrant visa.

You should check the embassy website or email them and double check for sure.

Do you happen to know their email. I have tried to chat with them but I get no response.
