Hi everyone! We finally got our NVC case number yesterday and I have a question about emailing the DS-3032. I've read to send the email immediately after getting the case number, but I've also read that you should wait for the NVC email first. Should I (the beneficiary) be sending it out now, or after we receive the NVC email about the DS-3032 and AOS bill?

Have been trying to sign in to the payment portal with the case number and IIN, but we keep getting the SIF message. I don't think our bills have been generated yet. Well, the operator did tell hubby that we wouldn't be able to do anything with the IIN # right now.

Grats on getting your case number!

I would suggest sending the DS-3032 email asap. If for whatever reason, you get a response saying they couldn't add so-and-so as agent, just re-send the email.

And you should be able to log onto the payment portal soon. If you're getting a SIF, then they're generating the AOS bill. Just keep checking the site, you should be able to log in soon ;)

Thanks, Saylin! I just sent out the email and got the auto response. Hope we get a confirmation soon! :)

Looks good! Make sure you go over both forms (I-864 and DS-230) and make sure everything is completed, signed, and dated, and that there are no blank spaces.

QUICK QUESTION FOR ANYONE WHO KNOWS...

When submitting my I-864 I have attached my employment letter, six months pay stubs, the last 3 years tax returns from H&R Block, 3 years official tax transcripts. Do I need to send in my W2's also? I read some who sent those in but it doesn't appear to be a requirement???

Believe the requirement is for either the transcripts OR the 1040 returns+W2s+1099s. It says explicitly on the instructions to the I-864EZ that if you are sending transcripts, do not to include the other papers.

Acrobat Reader is being a pain right now and refusing to work on my machine so I can't see the I-864 instructions... But I would assume they are going to be the same.

Then again, people don't seem to have any problems sending both the transcripts and the returns, so I wouldn't be too worried either way.

If you have the tax return transcripts, then you don't need to send the tax returns or W2s. The only circumstance in which you need to is if you filed jointly in the past and need to show individual income.

Ah, yes, that's true. Glad NVC was able to compensate some of the time from getting the case number assigned.

And good luck, hope you hear of your interview date soon!
