a wise decision is for you to keep your personal bias out of your moderation, which you lack the ability to do.

The sensationalized topic title you chose was designed to instigate a volatile response and as such was a violation of TOS. I edited the topic to reflect the true content of the article you posted - it was you who chose that article. - no personal bias on my part involved.

and where was I wrong in my title?

See that's where your OPINION and BIAS comes into play in a POLITICAL forum.

My title was fine and sufficient. It's up to the individual readers to decide if the title has merit or not. Not you.

YOU didn't like the title. YOU made a choice to change it because YOU didn't like it.

It wasn't misleading, the full article and link to the article was there. The point of my post in a POLITICAL forum, wasn't on the topic at hand, but the ACTIONS in the topic at hand.

Regardless, the topic title was reported to the moderation team. I investigated and agreed that it violated TOS.

One post that is not useful to this discussion along with one quoting it have also been removed.

Perhaps now would be an appropriate time to return to the discussion of the topic of this thread - either the posted content or the intended content.

There was a patient last night who was admitted with chest pains. He told me he's been having these pains for a couple of months. I asked him why he didn't go to his primary care physician and he said that he lost his insurance and COBRA would have cost $700/month, to which he cannot afford. He's 64. He and his wife are moving in with some friends until he qualifies for Medicare. There are countless others out there who put off going to see the doctor, partly out of fear that it might be something major, but also because they don't have the money and a simple doctor's visit isn't going to get to the bottom of this guy's chest pains. He needs a CT scan, xrays and stress test just for starters, and without insurance, that would run in the thousands.

That is so true and cannot be overstated. IMO, people should be required to have annual exams and preventative care as part of their health insurance.

if HHS has their way from the Totalitarian health care law, then this might just happen.

expect there to be hell though if they ever mandate anything like that.
