Hello,I'm a brazilian and I started the I-130 petition in SP- Brazil.

I'd like to know how long did it take you to receive your NOA 1?

12/27/2009- First date

01/2010- Started dating

04/09/2010- I came back to Brazil

06/09/2010- Thomas came to Brazil

09/10/2010- We got married

01/03/2011- Thomas got his permanent visa to Brazil.

07/11/2011- We started the process of filling a I-130 in Sao Paulo-Brazil.

08/03/2011- We received an e-mail with our interview date and case number :)

09/02/2011- We went to our interview and got my visa.

01/14/2012- trip to the USA :)

well i got our noa1 from email after a week from the time we send our i130..then just got hard copy of noa1 yesterday..:)

Really? I saw on your timeline, just after 5 days?! That's very nice :D Congratulations!

I guess in Brazil things are slower =/

What's a hard copy of NOA1?

Timeline

IF you filed a G-1145 with your I-130 then you will get a text message and/or email first when they receive it. In either case, you will get a hard copy (a printed letter in the postal mail) about 7-10 days later.
