Email to NVC for case follow up( case has not yet reached NVC)

Hi,

We got NOA2 approval on 8th July 2011... Now we are waiting to reach our case at NVC…I kept calling NVC every alternate date..Last week operator told me to sent email at NVCResearch@state.gov, along with a scanned copy of NOA2.. Who sends this email? Petitioner or Beneficiary... is it fine if Beneficiary sent that email??

I think either can send the email.. just include the details about both like DOB, Phone #, email address and physical address..

petitionair and beneficiary have the right to right NVC for inquire regarding case number. we got case number last Saturday after 37 days of NOA2.we scan the NOA 2 and send to them.

now days NOA2 to NVC case sign time is 1 month normaly...i had seen one VJ member NOA2 recieved on 25th june and NVC recived on 26th july...so your case recived on nvc before 10th august...ok..use this time for i-864 and ds-230 documentation work...

Mine took a month. Don't worry though..as soon they receive it, they will send it to the consulate. They received mine on Monday and it was at the consulate the same Thursday.

I am confused... I thought that when NVC inputs the case you then must pay fees and submit documents before it goes to the consulate? How did you get to bypass that?

It's a K-1 visa. Fiancee visa.

NVC is a quick turn around point for them. Some cases are not even held their for a week. All of the processing happens at the consulates/foreign embassy abroad.
