filling I-765

I need some help for filling I-765.

this is my second time that i apply.

and for question 9, i supposed to put SSN.

but i don't remember SSN, and don't have the social security card.

i got my number and card before, but i just forgot those.

it looks like #9 is an optional question.

then, can i leave it blank?

or, do i have to find out the SSN and put it there??

please~help me out here.

it is not Required, it is just if you have it, so you can leave it blank

From the OP's post, it seems like he/she was issued one but no longer remembers the number.

You should go to your local SSA office and ask for a replacement card. They can also issue you a "temporary" card with your number on it on the spot. This would probably be the best course of action. You could also ask your employer.
