The U.S. Embassy Manila does not always accept cosponsors. However, it's worth a try. I would suggest that you have your cosponsor fill out an I-134 and an I-864. It worked for a friend of mine. It shows the consular officer that you'll have a cosponsor when the beneficiary adjusts their status.

Another thing...since you are planning to use a cosponsor, you definitely should attend the interview. I believe it helps in cases like yours.

thanks tahoma for that info. we are gonna be needing a co-sponsor because my fiancee (the petitioner) will end his contract in the military this august, so by the time that i'm going to have my interview for the k-1 he doesn't have a work anymore that's why we decided to get a co sponsor.
