friends..if u go and see a link at oct VB of any year u vl not see a huge jump....link is

now u can see what ever the reason may be but they are not issueing more visas in the oct...bt this is the reality....and one more reality s that they are vasting as much as 30% of our f2a visas...they are stupids...

Maybe they do finish all pd of 2008 for sure and no more retrogression again!

That's the most important thing. No retrogression. Usually, VB moves just 1 month every month based on the trend for the past years. So I'd expect it to be that way starting this October. My PD is October 2009 so that means, I have to wait roughly for 10months to receive the interview sched on my inbox. Just my personal opinion.

We are on the same boat ! my pd is oct 2009 too!

I really thought it would move 4, 5 months this VB, but now im very dissapointed & sad

this waiting is killing me

10 months wait is very long almost like a year :( :( !!!!!!!!!

I hope vb will move faster in next coming month.

So what happend to visa allotments and new fiscal year???? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee NVC pleassssssssssssssseeeeeee VB pleasssssssssss

Hi PilaPila. Yup,truly 10months wait is so long. But since my kids are with me, I could stretch my patience to the end. I'm sure NVc understands our situation being away from spouses and all but there are laws to be followed and we don't have much of a choice but to follow them. Hang in there. Our time will come. Just hold your breath a little longer.

Not necessary,I know some of them who applied in July 2010 last year for F2A.Applied for Adjustment of status and done with the Interviews and have their GC now.

Can someone please explain how this works?I saw a timeline where someones priority date was in October 2008 and their interview date is October 2011.Does that mean that it is taking about three years for EVERY petition? I have a friend who is planning on filing this year.does he have to wait three years before getting an interview date?Also what does the completed date mean and does it mean that if its been completed an interview date will follow shortly.I have seen some cases where the PD was in 2010 and the completed date was this year.Does that mean an interview date is near or does it mean there could still be a 3 year waiting period from the case completed date?

It all depends on the visa availability, you have to check the vb movement every month, btw my interview is in Oct and my pd is Dec 08.
