Sorry folks ....Oct VB is 01/01/09. Please accept it.

I just talked with NVC and asked when do they schedule the interviews... I got a surprising answer; they will schedule interviews 2nd week of the month based on the quota/capacity info they receive; I asked him that I have seen many months they start doing first two weeks... he was stating; it was typically 2nd weeek when interviews will be scheduled.... My thought was he was particularly referring to this month. Since first week is very short only today and tommorow; so probably we should start receiving interviews from next week after long weekend [i am not trying to be too optimistic, but writing what I heard from NVC]; pls let meknow your comments... also if any body else could call and ask NVC the same question we could tally our answer 603-334-0700 option 1, option 5. wait time is less now, so if possibel call now

They cannot be wrong because I called two operators, both of them same answer. so lets relax and not come to this forum "like me" every 5 minutes of the day until 6th trying to see if there is an interview

yep...you are right...i also called and received the same answer ....she also told me every month they start scheduling in the second week....(in this case she was wrong )...so we should get into conclusion that the last day of interview scheduling should be last day of second week....correct me if i am wrong

Probablym all the operators were given the same answer , I got the same response, that every month they start scheduling in second week.

Also, they might have started different schedule in this new year, we never know.... my anxiety reduced a bit that Oct 2011 have chances of moving forward still.

One reason could be that most of the embassies in muslim countries all over the world are closed for the Eid festival for 3 days (from Aug 31 to Sept 2)...And they will start sending interview dates to NVC after that.Its just my thought..I could be wrong.

i dont think so....leave cannot affect the workings and schedules.....can anyone tell how interviews are scheduled???? Are they calculating something???? No...otherwise everymonth around 25000 f2a visas lapses....it is based on some simple calculations...this many persons are waiting in f2a at consolates and this many consulates can schedule according to their working time ....they ask cosulates about their ability approximately........bcaz of AP and denials and other hearings at consulates....so for approximate estimate,i dont think 3 days can disturb them too much....

They all say the same thing, I believe they have a script or have been trained to say that. Every time I called they tell me the same exact script.

just called the NVC , same thing they told me its in second week but the bottomline is operator clearly says we are scheduling interview for F2A for October visa bulletin on second week of these month..Crossing my fingers .. I really do hope its true..

What operator said NVC only schedule interview between 15-31 of the month. That's how sirach & elkhris got the interview date. There will no more interview. PD will stuck @ 01/01/09.

I think you talked with a rep who doesnt know anything at all. Atleast 5 of us called, all of them stated 2nd week they stated. also they stated it will start from Sep 6th.

One more reason for hope is no other categories got interviews. so we can safely ignore this rep's ignorance of 15-31 , lets try to educate this rep.
