My 2 cents I wouldnt worry about this law at all :); its just a politicalgame, I wish it would be a big jump for F2A...... fingers crossed and cheer up for interviews.

Appreciated friend for clearing this up; I wouldn't realistically beleive that dates wont jump back to pre-retrogression times.

If they jump that way... I doubt they could accomodate every one for interviews in one month; I would be more comfortable with 5-6 month jump with everybody getting interviews; and wishing flow goes on the same way with no one left behind :)

I'd agree. But from July to August 2010 the PD jumped 8 months, then from August to September 2010 it jumped 9 months (almost a year and a half in just 2 months, covering half of 2008 and most of 2009). As far as accommodating the interviews, I'd say it would be difficult, but there are less cases now then when the PD was last in the 2009 range so a rapid movement isn't out of the question. However, those large jumps in 2010 are part of the reason that so many people applied for their GC at the end of 2010, and are indirectly the cause of the retrogression, so I think the government will be cautions with such rapid movement. I think July 2009 is a reasonable estimate for the October visa bulletin, and September 2009 is high-end estimate (as it would match the maximum 9 month jump seen during the same period of PD last year). As for going back to pre-retrogression dates, I think that is extremely unlikely (but I'd be happy for it to happen!)

Last August 23, 2011, I sent an NVC Inquiry with regards to my I-130.. And today, I received a reply from the NVC and my interview is on October 28, 2011 at 6:30AM US Embassy - Manila.. My PD is December 26, 2008.. And because of this; I predict that the Movement of F2A Philippines is January 2009..
