Around $125 a month for Verizon FIOS (fiberoptic) cable, internet, local and long distance calling, plus I think 250 minutes of international calling per month. No premium channels, but plenty anyway.

I'm the USC petitioner.

24.99 for a year - cable internet....I forgot the speed rating but when I tested it last it seemed to be able to +/- 1.9mb/s down and maybe 600k/s up

I killed tv about 8 months so we stream from netflix....(maybe 1.5 hrs a day?)

2 mbps down? Ouch. What service are you unfortunate enough to have?

$34.99/month for 12 mbps down (bursting to 18-20 mbps) and 1 mbps up. No cable or satellite. We watch all our shows via OTA & (mostly) the internet.

$60-70 for cable internet... it's our only choice in the area, though!

(L) Netflix for all our TV/movie watching. If there's a TV program we really like, but which isn't available for Netflix, we usually just suck it up and buy the DVDs. I really have no patience with commercials. My husband also uses Redbox for new games and the occasional new movie, but things are appearing on Netflix so quickly these days!

We get cable and internet through DISH. It's around $60 per month. We don't have any premium channels or DVR. It's easy enough to find the shows you missed, online.

We also use Netflix (now downgraded to Streaming + 1 DVD) -- we also visit the dollar theater and the $3 bin at Big Lots quite often.

We don't have cable or dish or whatever, only streaming Netflix.

Internet is $29.99 a month promo rate and $44.99 a month after it is up (no contract). However, my husband gets a reimbursement for internet from work of $15-$25 a month. It depends on the monthly rate what he gets.

Comcast and Verizon(FIOS) both offer packages now for $99 a month for Cable, Internet and Phone Service with a 2 year agreement. I've had both over the last 4 years. If it wasn't for enjoying my Flyers and Phillies games, I'd probably go with directv, Clear internet and magic jack, but Comcast doesn't offer their sports channel to satellite providers.

Be thankful you didn't go with clear wire. They are consistently ranked as the worst ISP in the country.
