Hey folks,

Just getting ready for my wife's interview on August 12 in the consulate in Juarez, and I'm just asking your opinions on interview prep!

O.K. so thus far I have the following Items to prove bona-fide marriage.

- 2 Airplane tickets (one from feb 2010 and the other from dec 2010)

- 5 Western Union money transfers (from me to her)

- Original wedding announcement/invitations

- Civil Marriage Certificate/Religious Ceremony certificate (Proves I was here in May 2010)

- Documentation that shows I was hospitalized here in Mexico last November while staying with my wife.

- Documentation that shows that both my wife and I have a joint membership at a private hospital here in Mexico.

- Documentation from Mexican immigration (Instituto Nacional de Migracion) that I am in the process of obtaining work permission in Mexico on grounds of marriage to Mexican citizen.

- Since I've been living here for the last 6 months, I have my bank statements from December 'til mid June that show that I have processed 126 atm withdrawals or transactions HERE IN MEXICO.

- A CD with approx 40 pictures from March 2008 up until the present day. (We live together so we might not have as many pictures as other couples who take more pictures because they see each other less often.)

-A stack of 60+ lengthy emails from early 2008 til late 2009.

One question I have is, if they want to see pictures, is there a way they can see the pictures on the CD I bring in? Should I just get those photos printed out?

Another question... Any suggestions or comments on my proofs of a good faith marriage?

Thanks in advance!

Print a couple of family pictures and select a couple of e-mails 60+ sounds like too much. They don't look at picture CD or wedding videos it has to be available right then and there.

If you have extras, bring copies of the documents you have already submited such as tax returns, w-2 and civil docs just in case

When my brother-in-law went for his interview in Juarez the consul put emphasis on the fact that he had never been to USA before. She kept asking trick questions to see if he would admit to being in the USA before (that was not the case for him but so many people there had to apply for waivers!). Your wife should be aware of this and to make sure she understands what is being asked, she can always ask consul to clarify or repeat the question. My bro in law says she only asked to see pictures and was impressed that he travelled to the Dominican Republic for my wedding, and that many of us travelled to Mexico to be with my sister and him including my sister's friends. So make sure those pictures you print out are not just the two of you if possible.

He also told me that he didn't know if he had been approved at his interview or not! He had to wait to receive the DHL package to find out and that took a few more days in Juarez paying for the hotel. So be prepared to stay in Juarez for a couple of days extra just in case.

p.s the consul that interviewed was very nice according to him, and was joking with him the whole time but she kept saying things like "oh so this is you and your mother in law in USA right?" when looking at the pics.

Alright, well I finally got the photos printed out today... I have several different photos, a couple of which have my wife and I with her parents, others have my wife and I with her brothers or sisters, several of them are just of us two, and a couple of them are pictures with me and my father in law, or my brothers/sisters in law without my wife. These pictures span from Mid 2008 til now.

Is this going to be enough? or should i get the entire family together for one last photo before we head of to Juarez?

Thanks for any answers!
