it is yours to keep... no one will be asking for it... all info from the xray was recorded on the medical report.

POE doesn't want the Xray they do nothing with it. I have my Xray CD sitting in my basement in a box because not even my new US Doctor wanted it.

AOS doesn't want Xray either just the vaccination copy.

They don't want your x-ray. Think about it--USCIS and CBP aren't radiologists trained to read x-rays. Your proof of not having TB is written in a report, signed by a radiologist. It's mostly for you since Knightsbridge doesn't keep any files on immigrants, they could bin it or pass it to you. Maybe if you get some lung infection down the road, your doctor could have a look at how you looked in 2011. Not much use for it really once it cleared you of TB for your visa.

Yeah I thought the exact same thing, but the Embassy gave me the CD and told me to hand it over at POE.

Hey! Welcome back to the USA! Jock got in yesterday too in JFK and he was also told in London to hand his disc in at the POE also which he did and the guy was like whats this? Your x-ray? I don't need this its yours. Anyway hope your flight was a good one and that you and your fiance are relishing in the reunion

Yeah, I really don't have any idea why immigrants have always been required to hang onto their x-ray. Especially as up to recently it meant transporting an actual unwieldy x-ray!

::raises hand:: Yep, we had the giant envelope containing the film x-ray that didn't exactly fit into carry-on luggage without curling it up. Maybe we should nominate the next one going to interview to explain that POE doesn't actually require the x-ray. Hmmm...who is cheeky enough to do that? Well at least it's on CD now.

This reminds me of one of the ladies from the 2009 group (I think) who put the big film version on her refrigerator because she said she just liked looking at his heart. Still makes me giggle.
