Being self employed I have seen is quite tricky... it can be done but it has to carefully be done to be sure evthing is accepted. As long as she pays taxes she should be ok... but they may see the self employment as a questionable stable job.. I have no clue..

Not sure if k1 in paki accepts co sponsors but if so and

If she isnt including her husband on the income then she only need to fill out the affidavit of support form but she would need to include a lot of information regarding her business etc...she also would need to show any tax records from her business as well as personal tax records im sure...and all other financial evidence

hopefully there will be somebody who can answer this for you better...

You will still fill out an i 134 for k1 visa i 864 for cr1 visa (because regardless of income you are still the MAIN sponsor) and write a letter explaining why you have not been filing taxes (I know they will want to see that)and any other type of financial evidence that you can provide along with the i 864 requirements... job letter, pay stubs, bank account info etc.. And if im not mistaken they don't look at the 100% for k1 visa they like to see 125% because you will be adjusting after your married... so plan to see 125% as your goal!!

And remember this is the pakistan embassy your talking about... they do look thru financials with a microscope... you see what they had me do... and there are others as well who had enough but needed joint sponsor anyway.

You may want to see who else you can ask to co sponsor at this point JUST IN CASE.....

The amount shown on line 22 of this person's 2010 form 1040 tax return is the income amount (assuming that the husband's income is zero). What is the amount on that line?

For a household of 4 plus a sponsored immigrant that number needs to be at least $32,712.

I can have a 2nd Joint sponsor as well ! Do you recommend that ??

How can i make sure that pakistani embassy accepts joint sponsor for K-1 Visa ?

There can only be one joint sponsor. That person must have enough income for their household count plus the intending immigrant.

From what I have seen here on VJ joint sponsors are accepted for K visas at Islamabad. But be sure to check with members that have recently interviewed there for the best information.
