No conulate listed in the "application"? or did you mean in the form the NVC sent you? If you meant on the NVC form, this might be the NVC just forgot to mention it on the letter they sent you (they are standard generic letters). You can always call the NVC on Monday to verify. if you did not list it on your "application' that is a different story...but you whould have received either a RFE or even a rejection if that was the case.

Good Luck

Mine said the same thing but the NVC had it and then forwarded it to the consulate that we listed on our petition. I emailed the NVC after 14 days of receiving my NOA2 (I received it July 11) to check on the status and I got an email just today that said they had received it and had sent it on to Montreal!! I had the same questions as you when I got my NOA2 but all is well as I'm sure it is with yours too!

You file will be assigned a case number by the NVC and then send to the US Consulate in Guayaquil. From the posts I've read, this is one of the tougher Consulate's to deal with, if you haven't already done so, read through threads about this Consulate and learn from the experiences of others.

Si, man -- I haven't seen that you acknowledged my reply to your thread last night:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/321908-how-hard-is-the-interview-anything-to-worry-about-after-noa2/

Ignore it at your peril.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hey budd just read it now, thanks for the help... Now i dont see why they would denied it, the only thing i could think of it's the money issue since i have a co sponsor that makes about 55000 a year and has a family of four including my self and him, My fiance will be the 5th. I also make about 17000 a year, but that would change pretty soon. Checking the 125 percent poverty rate for 2011 we are okay, but other than that i dont know if i should be worried. I am definitely going to be present at the interview. Im just so nervous... thanks for responding.

With due respect, amigo, you couldn't have possibly read and absorbed the entire 16-page "US Consulate in Guayaquil, Ecuador" thread that I gave you the link for.

Guayaquil couldn't care less about the financial side of things.

Create a VJ timeline, please.

Bluntly put, you need to pay attention, focus, and absorb what previous Ecu filers have posted and are telling you, or you're going to be in very deep trouble.

T- Bone, I read through the whole thing. That just a bunch of bull. I don't know if you were informed, but right now there is no enbassador in Guayaquil right now, she was kicked out by the president. I know they are still processing visas. Gabyfer recently was the last approval, she said that it went fine and she did not have her fiance present at the interview. I am more nervous than i was before, but that is just gonna make me prepare more. Any suggestions that you can give me? besides being there because i was really planning on being there in the first place. Thanks T-bone
