I paid AOS fee on 7/26, which is still in the status "IN PROCESS" but the IV fee paid on 7/28 late night is already having status "PAID" today 7/29. Called operator, who gives a new day range - 5 days instead of 2 - 3 days mentioned in the NVC Payment Web site. Since this is strange, I thought of sharing to know if such things happen........

Of course i got the DS-230 packet ready and will go through it one more time tonight just to be sure and will mail it tomorrow. Hopefully my AOS fee gets PAID status by tomorrow.

I am stuck on AOS payment too. I called my bank and they said the "pending" on bank end meant the recipient (NVC) had not issued the final electronic receipt to the bank. Oh man. Every step has become so painful.

We can put a robot on Mars and yet we don't have a centralized online registration/3032-designation/payment system for all this? We have to go through the pyament pain twice? We seriously have to print a cover sheet piece of paper in order to submit all these documents? gripe gripe grrrr... the systems analyst part of me is mortified.

I was all ready to send the AOS packet today,as I paid it on 7/26 and didn't expect IV fee status change so quickly - just paid yesterday evening. In a way it is a blessing in disguise, I quickly gathered everything for IV packet and am ready to mail it tomorow first thing in the morning. Wondering which one to send by between FEDEX or USPS (Marraige, Birth & Police Clearance are in it). Any idea!

I had the exact same thing happen today.. the 88.00 shows was taken from the bank on 7/27 and the 404.00 showed later today on my bank *after* the NVC had already changed it to "PAID".. I got the IV package sent out but I was scrambling a little bit to get it to the post office today. I was all prepared to ship the AOS - the IV packet was not quit as prepared since I wanted to concentrate on one packet at a time... I sent the IV package flat rate priority (a whopping 5.65 with tracking) but I might one-day mail the AOS package as I have read it takes longer to process and is now the critical path to getting the interview appointment set.

Could be worse! They are making precious little progress on the USCIS -> NVC pile.

It looks like we sailing in the same boat. I didn't want to rush sending IV packet today - front loading now - added wife as my 401K 100% beneficiary and my Dad's 50% second beneficiary along with me (other 50%), copy of lease with both names. Want to double check tonight and mail it first thing tommorrow morning - not bothered to rushhis t, as it is the AOS that takes more time to process by NVC. Who knows our AOS fee status may change tomorrow. Good luck with your process.
