Ok great news 32 days til interview but Jamaica embassy response time is deplorable to say the least. Anyways i called USCIS and found out they scheduled my interview date for Sep 1st mind you that i never received packet 3 ever i ended up filling out the forms online. Secondly my Fiancee needs an invitation letter to do her medical and attend the interview which they again are sending by mail. I have emailed them numerous times to request the invitation letter be sent to the email address but they dont respond and if they ever do it takes well over the 5 days they claim. In addition to this they say they have live operators on mondays and fridays from 1:30 to 3:30 thats bullshit. I have called every 15 minutes since 1:30 and not 1 person answers and its pissing me off. #######, my Fiancee is in the Cayman Islands so she has to fly to Jamaica twice, once for her medical and then again to attend her interview and this is getting frustrating as we are running out of time as we cant book the flights without this damn invitation letter.

Grrrrrrrr sorry im just venting!

My Proposal to kristine!!! :)

The Medical Facility should be able to do the medical with a copy of the NOA2 and her NVC case number.

Here is a thread of this happening recently:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/314931-the-case-of-the-missing-packet-4/

Figure out which hotel she is staying at, find out which approved medical facility is closest to that hotel, call them to explain the situation.

When you e-mail the embassy what verbiage are you using in the subject line?

Are you e-mailing both e-mail addresses?

consularkingst@state.gov seems to get responded to quicker in my experience.

Make sure you put your case number and SECOND REQUEST, THIRD REQUEST, (whichever it may be) in the subject line

Then take a deep breath!

What is it 30 days now??

It's gonna be ok!

YOU'RE ALMOST THERE!!!

30 days for an interview is not bad. At least you know you have one. Take it easy. We have had to endure worst waiting time than that for Kingston to respond. Trust me I use to live there.

Anyho....Like the former poster said, you can tkae the NVC case # and NOA2 letter to them. In addition, did you do a choice of agent where the mail is designated to come to you? If not, then receiving such important docs via Ja-snail-mail could delay the process.

Otherwise, congrats!!! You are closer to your loved one. All the best.
