HCMC Post-Interview: White slip after Blue slip?

Those records of communication are taking place after the interview and are not likely to get entered into the case without potentially delaying things further. Visits by the USC and the SO to the consulate can be beneficial as there may be the opportunity to get things addressed and resolved with a stokes interview. at the very least they will see that you are taking this seriously.

I wasn't suggesting that he add this to his case, only offer it if they ask. But also, in case he gets a denial, he could use it in the next time he applies. Bottom line, I it might or might not help, but I don't n't think it hurts to have it, but it could potentially help.

Hi all,

Regarding a meeting with the CO, should I contact the CO (before my trip) by e-mail telling her about my trip to VN and would like to have a meeting, or don't say anything but just show up the the Consulate asking for that meeting, etc..

Please advise. I'm sure there are pros and cons but could not think of anything..Thanks.

There is no way of telling the CO anything via email etc. The only contact you may have is the information department or through a congressional rep you may hear from a dept head. If you send and email saying you will be there, don't expect a reasonable response. Nothing wrong with showing up on USC days/times

yeah have your senetor do a congressional letter of inquiry and request that the co have a meeting with you to clear up any issues when you return to viet nam.And hey dont let anyone here kick sand in your face either. What happened to you happened to me also and i did the exact same thing when my ex and i seperated i met my wife online and we chatted and it took my mind of things and we became close very quickly. im sure others here would do the same thing.I recently found a letter in my ex wife email to her friend and it was sent 4 months after she came to usa and she was telling her friend she had a plan as soon her kids came. im thinking of including that in evidence for my wifes interview.

Given that the congressional rep is limited to a status inquiry, I have never seen where someone has had a congressional rep request an HCMC CO to setup a meeting and gotten one. Please help us by letting us know if you are aware of anyone having done this.. example... the law prohibits anyone, including the congress from foring the CO to do anything.. including having a meeting... In my experience the CO's have always been less than accomodating and would love to see that something has changed.

Hi everyone,

Assume that no matter what I do, I cannot get a meeting with the CO regarding my case while in VN. What could I do for the additional proof/evidence of my VN trip (new pictures, etc...)? what the best way to make it beneficial to my case, hoping the CO would approve the case? If anything I could do, should it be done (submit new pictures, etc) while I'm in VN or after?

Please advise. Thanks.

Hi everyone,

Since the case was not approved last month and we could not re-united as we had wished for, I may go back to VN to visit my wife in a few months.

What would be your advice (what to do before, during, and after the trip, etc...) so this trip would also be helpful to my case?

Please advise. Thanks.

You were in AP and now the case is not approved? Do you mean you are still in AP and now wants to add more evidence to your case?

If you are in VN you can go on USC day/times and they must accept anything you submit as evidence for the case... it could cause the case to get delayed or it could cause it to get approved quicker... it is a roll of the dice.

hi everyone,

My wife in VN just received via Mail "every pictures or evidence" she submitted on July 29 (when she got white slip after submitting the Timeline, 10-yrs Residency, Info on Ex-spouse, etc...). And that was all she received back from the HCMC Consulate.

What could be the situation of the case?

Please advise. Thanks.

more info: she got back all pictures she submitted (the Timeline Report referred to different occasions and these pictures were proofs for them, i.e. Thailand Trip, Wedding, Honeymoon in Ha Noi, getaway trip to Vung Tau, and others). She did not receive anything else.

Thanks for your advice, and everyone has a good day!

hi all, these are only the pictures we submitted when submitting Timeline, 10-yrs Residence, and Ex-Spouse (not anything or evidence submitted before the Interview). Anyone experienced similar situation? Thanks.

That's right, those pics you submitted with the 129F before the interview won't be return to you when they give you the approval.
