My fiance received the letter from the National Visa Center with the case number and will be processed in Manila US Embassy.... My question is, how long does it usually take for me to receive the packet with the instructions from the consular? Can i get my medical done before i receive the packet? What do i bring to St. Luke's so they can approve me for the medical exam??? Or should I just wait for the packet to come before i do anything else??

don't wait for the packet but follow the instructions on NVC letter stating how long it will take to forward them to the embassy once your case arrive at the embassy, wait for few days to have your case in their system then you can pay the visa fee and schedule your interview appointment and have you medical done before the interview date. Have your NOA2 letter (original and copies), passport (original and copies), 4- 2x2 pictures. This would help you http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/221658-st-lukes-medical-exam-walkthrough/

Good Luck!

In all the world you'll never find a love as true as mine

Overall very good advise. However, you can proceed to pay the visa fee now as long as you have the manila case #. Wait for a day and then schedule your interview online. You will need you passport info, manila case #, and your receipt # from BPI when scheduling for your interview online.

You do not have to wait anymore prior to your approved petition to arrive at the USEM. FYI, you can track when your approved petition was shipped to USEM through DHL. Ours was shipped 7/28 and it in o its way to USEM. DHL it looks like they are averaging 5-7 business days of delivery to USEM.

We got our manila case # on 7/27, Patty paid the visa fee, and by 7/28 I scheduled for the interview on August 16. There were still plenty of slots for August when I scheduled the appoinment.
