will having completed a k1 visa help with our cr1?

Hello all,

My wife and I got married in the states as required by the k1 visa but decided it would be best to spend more time inn Japan to learn the coulture better. Now we are filing the cr-1 and was wondering if the k-1 would speed things up, since the background has already been done once it was only a year ago to if that helps. Like is my wife going to have to do the form 230 over again?

Yes, your wife has to do everything all over again, including getting police checks, filling in forms etc.
